Projects

On this website, you can find details of projects – or activities - that Our Place Wye is currently undertaking. However there are other activities that we have embarked on in the past, some of which we list here:

• In 2018 Our Place Wye arranged T’ai Chi classes in partnership with Wye surgery and Luckley House. These have become regular sessions run by T’ai chi for You.
• In recent years, in partnership with the Church and Women’s Institute we have arranged public meetings to consider “Connections in Wye”. The aim of these meetings was to reduce loneliness by identifying projects to engage people in the most welcoming, fun and inclusive way.
• In partnership with Wye School, we have organised intergenerational Ready Steady Cook and fashion shoots.

One of the principal aims of Our Place Wye is to encourage intergenerational activities and projects which promote understanding across generations in order to build a more cohesive supportive community for all ages. Any ideas that you may have to bring generations together would be most welcome.
